The Wand of Skulltimate Power is a Boss relic that doubles damage at the cost of 3 health for every 30 pegs activated.
Strategy[]
- Wand of Skulltimate Power is very much a high-risk high reward Orb. If the player is in a position to offset the damage taken, then this relic is highly valuable and a major power spike. Otherwise, the player could be running into a lot of trouble.
- Bucklorb becomes exceptionally powerful with this relic, as it will deal damage on par to a Level 3 Sworb but with the added bonus of negating the damage taken mid-flight.
- Orbs that benefit from self-damage such as Bullyball and Countorb Attack become exceptionally powerful alongside the Wand of Skulltimate Power.
- Intentional Oboe is a recommended relic to take when offered, as it will reduce each damage tick to 2 health.
- Infernal Ingot completely offsets the damage taken with how quickly it can heal the player. In fact, Infernal Ingot heals the player faster than Wand of Skulltimate Power deals it.
- Popping Corn can serve the same purpose, but heals slower and is incapable of offsetting the damage loss without assistance.
- Ring of Indignation will assist in dealing chip-damage to enemies, which can stack up if the Orb stays in flight for a long time.
- Wand of Skulltimate Power also counts pegs that have already been popped if you have Morbid, so be cautious about taking Defresh Potion or Morbidorb.
Trivia[]
- This and Wand of Skulltimate Greed have the longest names of anything in the game.
- "Skulltimate" is a portmanteau of "skull" and "ultimate", alluding to the risk-versus-reward usage of the relic.
