Peglin Wiki

Since I don't use the Discord very much, I figured I'd make a post here detailing my current plans for the wiki.

As with all wikis, we have a stubs category. If you've got any info about a page with that category, please edit the page to add it. Even if you don't know how to do the template styling other pages use, it's vastly better to have a basic page with info on it rather than having nothing at all. Another editor can add the styling, and/or you can reverse-engineer it by looking at the source editor of other pages (that's how I learned what I know about wiki editing).

As always, everything on the Todo page needs to be done (provided it hasn't been striked out already), but there's a couple other things that aren't there:

  • Modularize enemy templates. This is a huge task, but WallyKZ's suggestion from a while ago now is a good one and I would love to implement it - however, I don't have the scripting knowledge necessary to get it down. If someone knows how to do it, by all means please do so and let me know. The Terraria Wiki does this and it's a damn good system, so I'd like to do it here as well. Would save all the editors a ton of time.
    • Could also be done for Orbs (as was suggested in the post) and maybe even Relics too.
  • Speaking of the Terraria Wiki, they also have a system in place for version history templates that would be great to have here. Just like a lot of other wiki stuff though, it's more complicated scripting.

If anyone knows how to do either of those, please implement and test them and/or inform me so we can test it out together.

The main page could also use an overhaul as it's still using the default Fandom one. I've noticed most other wikis use templates for their main page, so if anyone knows the CSS styling please make a concept and let me know about it so I can add it to the main page.

Everything else is on the Todo list and stubs category, so if you've got time and want to help just pick a thing and do it. Uploading some missing images would greatly help too. You can post that it's been done in the Discord or Fandom Discussions. Articles in the Citation/Confirmation categories also need updating.
