Haglin Scouting is an event that presents the player with the option to either upgrade or remove an orb in their inventory.

Gallery

The start of the event. Clicking the screen progresses the dialogue.

Haglin greets the player, and asks if they want to upgrade or remove an orb. The player can also choose the third option to simply leave.

The player upgraded an orb, and can now leave to continue the game.

The player removed an orb, and can now leave to continue the game.

You find another Peglin intensely surveying the area. "Hello! I'm Haglin... have we met before? I'm trying to find some good areas to open up [my] shop. In the meantime, I can offer you a free sample!

What can I do for you?

Upgrade an orb

Haglin takes your [chosen orb] and tosses it into their own satchel, and then pulls out a [upgraded orb]. You're not entirely convinced that they didn't just replace your orb, but either way you're impressed!

Remove an orb

"Ooh, new inventory!", Haglin squeals while taking the [chosen orb] off your hands. You wonder just how many orbs Haglin has collected...

No thanks!

Trivia

• This event was a placeholder for a future shop planned for the game's full launch, though it is still in the game after the shop's release.
• Based on the dialogue, it is likely that Haglin doesn't actually upgrade orbs, but rather replaces them and simply claims it was upgraded. It is unknown where the replaced orbs come from, though they could be collected through the "remove orb" option in the event.
