- Glorious SuffeRing's downside does not affect orbs that deal no damage or can be minimized on orbs that start with 0/0 stats. Orbs like this include Protectorb and Bob-Orb. Reforbisher is best suited to this role, as it will increase the amount of upgrades applied to each peg.
- Swoltorb can serve the same purpose as Reforbisher while also dealing damage. However, the power loss from Glorious SuffeRing can make using Swoltorb unreliable early on.
- Orbsium grants multiple upgrades on every peg it hits, quickly stacking damage.
- If possible, take orbs and relics that can offset the initial damage loss, such as Power Glove, Arccentuate or Ballad.
- Your main source of damage early on will likely be bombs. Taking an orb that can focus in on bombs such as Necorbmancer or Concentrication may be a wise idea therefore. Additionally, Enhanced Gunpowder will apply the upgrade effect to pegs popped by the explosion of the bomb.
- The Gift That Keeps Giving is one of the best assisting boss relics alongside Glorious SuffeRing, as all pegs will become durable and can therefore receive more upgrades in a single turn.
- Similarly, Glorious SuffeRing can fit into a Slime build with orbs such as Generatorb or Twooze Company and the relics A Good Slime and Prime Slime.
- The Multiball effect can speed up the rate at which this relic upgrades pegs.
- The Morbid effect through equipment like Morbidorb and Defresh Potion can be useful with the Glorious SuffeRing, as it will then apply the +2 upgrade on popped pegs that are passed over.
Notes[]
- Pegs hit during Navigation also get upgraded.
