The player can discard an orbs (default: right-click) once per turn to swap to the next orb in line. The Ambidextionary makes this limit 2 discards, whereas Sealed Conviction will reduce it by 1.
This allows them to have some control over what orbs they want to use, or temporarily get rid of a lower tier orb (such as stones).
Some orbs can trigger an effect when discarded, such as the Refreshorb.
