The Chopping Ballock is a uncommon orb that applies Shield to every 5 pegs hit and gains additional damage for each Shield Peg on the board.

• Because of the Shield Pegs it generates, it is largely a nuisance. However, the additional damage per Shield Peg it gains acts as a countermeasure to this, allowing it gain more damage that it otherwise would by itself.
• Pairing this orb with Forbification is seen as a strong synergy, as Forbification creates Shield Pegs more often than Chopping Ballock.
• This orb works especially well with relics like the Ballpeen Hammer and Fiery Furnace, which gain Ballwark when Shield Pegs are made and destroyed respectively.
  • In addition, it pairs well with Infernorb and Worbhammer due to their ability to destroy Shield Pegs in a single hit. Be careful, however, as Chopping Ballock gets most of its damage from Shield Pegs.

Trivia

• The name of this orb is a portmanteau of "chopping block" and "ball".
• The design of this orb appears to be somewhat inspired by the Thwomps from the Super Mario Bros. series.
