Piercing attacks will fly through a number of enemies on-screen (and sometimes the pegs on the board), which can deal massive damage to multiple enemies in one turn. Some might only pierce a few depending on level, or simply state that it attacks all enemies which is sometimes abbreviated by other people to AoE (Area of Effect) damage instead.
Flying enemies are usually excluded from Piercing unless:
- The player has a Grabby Hand
- They are attacked at a specific angle (from a ground enemy to a backline air enemy)
- If "attacks all enemies" is specified on the orb
