Brassicaceae Knuckles is a rare relic that applies 1 Muscircle whenever the board is refreshed 3 times
Strategy[]
- Unlike the pronunciation of the relic, using Brassicaceae Knuckles is pretty straightforward as far as synergies go - amass a large amount of relics and orbs that can either refresh the board, or reliably hit or add Refresh Pegs, and potentially finishing with orbs that either benefit from having a large amount of Muscircle or by creating so much Muscircle that everything does a ridiculous amount of damage... until it hits a Critical Peg. Very powerful as a buildaround relic which can snowball into a large amount of damage that's only held back by its rarity and your ability to hit refreshes, and mitigating your chances to hit a Critical Peg
- Fresh Bandana and PegBag are obvious solid relic choices that add Refresh Pegs to the board
- Training Weight is also a given synergy
- Duplication Potion + Tactical Treat / Reorbanizer is a classic combination that propels this relic buildaround into a successful strategy, especially when followed up with either a Multiball like Matryorbshka, peg splashing like Ball Lightning and Refreshing Punch, or something like Renewed Vigorb which is essentially the orb version of this relic and hitting as many refreshes as possible.
- Strange Brew is a great pickup if you get the above setup going as well, so damage isn't lost as a "payment" for extreme scaling
- Leaf The Rest For Later is a riskier and certainly intended synergy, essentially creating a power salad on your pegboard allowing a large amount of refreshes to happen for every shot and scaling the build significantly faster.
- WARNING: In the patch v0.9.25, using this relic with the above Duplication Potion + Tactical Treat / Reorbanizer combo alongside Refreshing Punch against The Sapper Boss might crash your game
- Heavy Shaft Potion and Unpretentious Pendant are two relics that can both mitigate some of the downside of hitting a Critical in a Muscircle build, where the former triggers a refresh on a Critical Peg and the latter removes a Critical from the board while increasing your damage by +2/0
- Refreshircle is a reliable way to trigger refresh, especially if you don't find the above combinations. Can get really wild alongside Multiball providers like Matryoshka Shell, Summoning Circle and Duplication Station
- Etherwheel can also benefit here as a replacement or addition to the build, having higher base damage than Refreshircle and being able to be discarded for a free refresh at level 3

- It's name is a pun on Brass Knuckles as well as Broccoli (which is a type of Brassicaceae)
- It's function is based on the classical saying often taught and heard from parents after complaints from their children: "It's important to eat your veggies so you can grow up to be big and strong!" "If you don't eat your [insert vegetable] you won't grow big and strong / get dessert" and other common variations
- The Cruciball level can actually make this relic stronger as this relic is one that actually gets better depending on difficulty, starting at Cruciball 3 which removes 1 critical peg from the board
