Ballad is a common orb with low damage that grants Spinesse after attacking.

Strategy

• Ballad is great for building up Critical damage, thus making it great to use in builds that center around Critical attacks.
• Mask of Joy adds an additional Spinesse after the orb has been fired.
• As Ballad adds multiple Spinesse at once, consider taking Signal Boostorb or Spinpoint when it is offered as it will multiple the number of Spinesse buffs.
• If you are using the Critsomallos Fleece or Critikris relics, Ballad is highly recommended as it will increase the damage output of them, especially if you have Critsoballos.
• Having multiple Critical Pegs is not a necessity to using Ballad, but it can be powerful if you have the Critsomallos Fleece relic.

Trivia

• The Spinesse is only applied after attacking, meaning and the additional Critical damage does not apply until after Ballad has exited the pegboard.
